01 — Context
The client, and what I was asked to design.
The client
Rise Capital is a US investment firm working in two asset classes: oil and gas (existing production, rework and re-entry projects, and new drilling) and real estate, buying discounted houses and renovating them with creative financing.
Its investors follow their money through a secure portal: payouts, investment tracking and support, from any device.
The brief
I designed Rise Capital's website in Figma, for desktop and mobile. A selection of the pages is shown below.
The audience is investors weighing an asset class they may not know well, so the site explains before it asks: a dark, quiet palette with a single green accent, full-screen chapters on the home page, and a long-form page for each asset class that walks through the case point by point.
02 — Selected pages
A few pages from the redesign, top to bottom.
Each page sits in its own window. Scroll inside one to move through the design from top to bottom.
Page 01
Home
Full-screen chapters, one idea each: the promise, why choose Rise, the case for oil and gas and for real estate, how it works, the team, and a way to get in touch.
Page 02
Why oil & gas
A long-form explainer: six reasons to invest, each with its own chapter and photograph, and a contents list that marks your place as you read.
Page 03
Why real estate
The same format for real estate: five reasons, from a tangible asset to tax advantages, closing with the case in brief.
03 — Selected screens
A few screens from the mobile design.
Each screen sits in its own phone. Scroll or swipe inside one to move through it; the tab bar stays put, as it would on a device.
Screen 01
Home, on mobile
The home page on a phone: each full-screen chapter stacked in one column, with the menu folded away.
