01 — Context
The client, and what I was asked to design.
The client
Ares & Hera is a Sri Lankan clothing brand founded in 2023. It draws on the Greek myths of Ares and Hera: strength and beauty, and the interplay of masculine and feminine.
Its collections are made for every gender identity and background, under one idea, modest luxury. The store hasn't launched yet.
The brief
I designed the online store in Figma, for desktop and mobile. A selection of the pages is shown below.
The clothes are photographed on a quiet grey, so the design steps back: warm neutrals, generous space and a single dark accent, with the two collections, Ares and Hera, each given its own chapter on the home page.
02 — Selected pages
A few pages from the redesign, top to bottom.
Each page sits in its own window. Scroll inside one to move through the design from top to bottom.
Page 01
Home
More lookbook than catalogue: a full-bleed hero, featured products, then a chapter each for the Ares and Hera collections, reviews and a newsletter.
Page 02
About
The brand's story, its values and a way to get in touch, told with the same quiet photography.
Page 03
Product
One piece and nothing else: a gallery of angles, size and colour, add to cart, then the top sellers.
03 — Selected screens
A few screens from the mobile design.
Each screen sits in its own phone. Scroll or swipe inside one to move through it; the tab bar stays put, as it would on a device.
Screen 01
Home, on mobile
The home page on a phone: the hero and each collection in one column, with the products laid out to swipe through.
